Seeing as we've had a couple of frosts now, I dug up my row of parsnips and half rows of salsify and scorzonera this afternoon, in the wet and cold October drizzle. I was a bit disappointed with their size but then again, I had pretty much left them to compete with the weeds, so hardly surprising!
Looking forward to a nibble!
