The title of this entry doesn't really ring true as we have had so much off the plot this year: spuds, onions, garlic, broad beans, peas, courgettes, carrots, beetroot, lettuce, kale, radishes, raspberries, blackberries, tayberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, strawberries, rhubarb and loads of herbs - and there's more to come!
Big failures though have been pretty much all of the brassicas, which either bolted or were devoured by slugs, pigeons and caterpillars; broad beans, which fed all of the blackfly in the NW; and the toms in my temporary greenhouse, which I fear are blighted...
Still, a much more productive year and more knowledge and experience for next year!
